How glass fencing is installed

After a period of reflection, you have chosen glass fences to protect and decorate your home. Here are the steps that will constitute the installation process of your new fences. First, our professionals will mark the center of your future glass fence with chalk, in order to delimit its location. They will then determine the location of the fasteners according to the total length of the glass fence you have chosen and will drill holes that will allow them to install the clamps.

After that, they will place the two outermost clamps, then between which they will place a cord, which will be used to verify that the glass panels are straight and properly adjusted. After that, they will install interposing clamps all along the cord line and cement them in place.

They will then position the finishing rings to hide the grout, fit the rubber spacers into the slots of the clamps, place the glass panels in the slots, and insert the metal plate between the slot of the clamp and the rubber spacer. Finally, our professionals will tighten the clamps, making sure that the glass does not touch the metal.

For frameless glass fences, the process is not more complicated and is quite similar. Simply, they will use the base plate of the bracket as a template to mark the location of the mounting holes and place the two outermost clamps so that the line of the glass panels is straight. The other steps are the same as for the core mount installation. After that, all you have to do is admire your brand-new glass fences.
